"Come out, come out, wherever you are ... Talikaa!!!" Noranti and Rygel are negotiating with traders for maps of tormented space. After the maps are agreed upon the traders offer one more trade.... Talikaa.
Once she is onboard the crew start acting a little different. Their emotions are heightened. Added to this Rygel is ups to his usual greedy self and has given the traders ‘’áltered’’ krendars.
Talikaa goes missing and as the crew try to find her, one by one they are ambushed and their ‘’mojo’’ is taken. This then does a flip on their emotions.
Aeryn is falling apart, Rygel is not greedy at all and John has lost hope. D’Argo isn’t angry and Chiana has had her sex drive taken away.
In the meantime the traders come back to Moya as they apparently have also fallen victim to Talikaa. Aboard their vessel the crew discover that Talikaa is really a Wolaxian Arachnid who has harvested their neural energy. The race is now on to locate her nest of energy orbs.
Talikaa then tricks the crew into following the trading ship leaving John behind to deal with the intruder. Together with Noranti and Sikozu, they use Scorpius as bait to flush out the spider and get her to reveal her nest.
Eventually this is achieved, everyone is back to ‘’normal’’ and Noranti gets her own back by treating the crew to spider soup.
But the best part of this episode is the tag. John and Aeryn kiss and make up
But not before Aeryn calls John on his use of lakka and he explains his recent behaviour was to prevent Scorpius from seeing how important Aeryn really is to him
