Since John had decided in the last episode to go to the command carrier to stop Scorpius’ wormhole research, a deal needed to be made and Rygel and D’Argo are the ones that go to negotiate suitable arrangements which also guarantees John’s safety.
Of course nothing goes according the plan and their meeting is interrupted by the ‘’blue monkey men’’, who apparently have been paid by the owner of the diner to burn the place down for the insurance. Things get worst when Braca is wounded, which in turn affects D’Argo and then the owner is killed.
During this chaos Scorpius and Rygel come to an understanding and a deal is made that includes acceptable security precautions in the form of I-Yensch bracelets to be worn by John and Scorpius.
While all those negotiations are going on there is also trouble back at Moya. Talyn has destroyed the med ship that has collected Naj Gill and fired on his mother. Crais decides the best thing to do is power down Talyn and seek help to resurrect him minus the problems he now has.
During the episode we see John and Aeryn start to work together, although it is heartbreaking to see how difficult it is for them.
