''Was it easy to be a hero? Leave me behind?'' Aeryn is mourning the loss of John and after Stark tells her of a planet where there are psychics and spirit channelers, she heads down to Valldon in an attempt to contact John. However there are others waiting for her on the dreary planet.
Stark, Crais and Rygel head down to the planet to rescue Aeryn but come across her mother instead, who apparently is not dead after all.
Xhalax is on a personal vengeance quest to rid the world of the child that she blames for all that has gone wrong in her life. She sends of man pretending to be Aeryn’s father to help find John’s spirit and plans to kill ‘’Talyn’’ in front of his daughter. However Aeryn makes peace with her mother just as Crais kills her for real.
Stark decides to move on after hearing Zhaan’s voice on Valldon, but he leaves his mask behind with instructions for it to be delivered to John.
Throughout the episode Aeryn relives her life with John but in the end the pain is too much and she makes a choice to move on and return to the warrior she was born to be, free of emotional attachments and the heartache they bring.
