I'm here, on a big stinkin' Command Carrier.  Dick Tracy's freakin' neural bracelet linking me to Bram Stoker's nightmare.  What more do you want from me?

Great line and Ben delivers it right on the money.

That scene is the only one where I've memorized an entire chunk of dialogue.  I love the entire sequence.

I've been watching NCIS lately, just to have some noise in the house.  I can't believe how people rave about the writing and acting in that show.  It's so BLAH and static.  Then I come back to Farscape, and it's like ... :ponder: ... being back on crack.  ;D

Yeah I find that with the few shows I watch ... absolutely DO NOT compare to anything Farscape.

Now you are going to scratch your head but I do watch NCIS.  And I love the show.  I think it has a great cast - the chemistry is terrific.  And there are some episodes that do hit you in the gut.  It's not like that every episode but I really enjoy the series.  I love Mark Harmon (another class act guy like Ben, family man) and Michael Weatherly as Anthony DiNozzo...

And to be far you can't compare the two.  NCIS is a procedural crime show and Farscape well it's FARSCAPE!  ;)

I don't dislike the show.  I've finished Season 6, and I'm about to start 7.  I enjoy Mark Harmon, and a lot of the characters.  I just can't see that it stands up in any way when you compare it to the kind of intensity of Farscape.  I find it very formulaic.

I like Michael Weatherly, but unfortunately, after having been on the receiving end of workplace harassment for so many years, I despise DiNozzo, and can't imagine what has been going on in the writer's minds for the best part of 6 season.  DiNozzo is an asshole.  But I known that's a very personal interpretation, skewed by what I went through.

I had watched NCIS in the beginning but haven't watched it for a few years now.  Didn't mind the show when I watched it though.

But you can't compare...it's just not on the same level.  It is very formulaic.  There are times where I prefer something where I don't need to think too much...does that make sense?

Tony I suppose you make an argument that he is an ass.  However there is a softer side to him.  He really does care about his co-workers and he has enormous respect for Gibbs.  He's very flawed and I think his behavior is a result of this.  I love him and if I had to work with him I would not put up with his shit!

You should check out The Glades on A & E on Sunday nights at 10.  Another crime drama but the lead actor has such a dry sense of humor.  Sybil got me hooked on it.

I don't have any cable TV or any other kind of reception here.  I only watch DVDs.
