Title: Green Eyed Monster - 308

Have to start by saying thanks to Ben for writing this wonderful episode. He did a fantastic job!!! :goodvibes:

This is the first episode where Moya’s crew is separated. We see John, Aeryn & Crais on board Talyn and Stark and Rygel aboard the transport pod all orbiting around a planet when Talyn is swallowed by a Budong.

It appears John is being personally targeted by a green eyed monster when he is subjected to cold showers and the theft of Winona. He suspects Crais but we later find out it is Talyn who thinks he is protecting Aeryn from the human. Crais has his own agenda though when he convinces Aeryn to accept a transponder to help control Talyn and get them out of the rather large green eyed monster that has swallowed them.

With the union of Aeryn, Crais and Talyn, John is feeling his own jealousy which is fuelled when Talyn shows him a vid chip containing visions of Aeryn and Crais together :covereyes:

John has the first plan to stop them from travelling further down the creature but it is Stark that comes up with the successful escape plan ... make the Budong VOMIT!!! :ill:

It is during the escape when Talyn attempts to kill John, that Aeryn realises that she needs John more than she needs the power of being one with Talyn and by showing those feelings to Talyn, saves John’s life.

The scenes between Stark and Rygel on the transport pod are so funny and there are some great lines and new words throughout the episode as well.

“Talyn – you’ve seen them both naked. Perhaps you can tell us who’s bigger” :o
“I am the eater! Not the eatee!” :LOL:

“Electromagnetic candy” & “Drannit” are two of my favourites :D

As a shipper, the tag is a favourite of mine. I love seeing John and Aeryn together :mushy:

I hope our sickies get better very soon and those that are missing are able to join us next week.

Yes, he was fantastic. You could really connect with John and what he was feeling. I get so angry with Aeryn...

It's not enough that he writes a script ... his first script to be filmed ... but he turns out an outstanding episode as well. You wouldn't blame him if it had been mediocre. But Ben comes up with something exceptional.

Well Green eyed Monster. Written by Ben is one great episode and one of my favourites of season 3. Also just gotta say John Crichton in this one Damn :thud:

Crais is as annoying as always, so irritating acting all high and mighty cause he's the captain and knows Talyn's systems. Just wanna punch him out.

Love the tilse-vision, so cool looking.
The terminology in it is just so priceless "Electromagnetic candy" :LOL:

Must say can't help it love the domestic bicker banter between John and Aeryn "Stop acting like an drannit" What the hell is a dranit?" LOL

Felt so Bad for John when Talyn shows him the doctored up altererd vid chip of Aeryn and crais together. He really nailed poor John sucker punching him in the gut right to the heart with it :wibble: so poor John. We see one of John's fears come about cause of it with in regards to her pining to still be a peacekeeper in some way. No matter how much these two have changed and grown closer, the core part of who they are never will. She will always have the military in her taking action and fighting, Like John is with being a scientist.

Aeryn pisses me off for the most part siding with crais and defending him. Until she realizes Talyn is leaving John out to dry. At that time I love how she finally shows some emotion and how she needs John instead of ignoring them. Lovely moment when she shows Talyn those feelings and how you see his recognition through his lights blinking.

Being a shipper despite it being corny I love the ending get all mushy when John shows Aeryn his star chart and how the brightest one in the center he always names after her. His guide and one constant :lovies: Shows how hard he's fallen for her and how much he trusts her with his life. So Romantic.
Honestly who better to write John crichton finally getting to be with the girl then the man who plays him.
